Link Year Week 4:
How long is the day, often the day drags on and on, seemingly unending school days are a common occurrence for the average college student. Conversely a week often seems to fly by in the blink of an eye. Time is a fleeting resource and the only currency that every man will run out of at some time.
If time is such a commodity why do we waste so much of it worrying about seemingly trivial pursuits. In light of eternity popular endeavors such as influence on social media and people pleasing pail quickly. One could easily use extra time and used it to learn a skill or a language as opposed to catching up on netflix or surfing the web.
Our time on earth is fleeting, we're merely parked here on earth for a short time. The thing that distinguishes the greatest of men from the commonplace was often their use of their time. They seldom spend time engaged in pointless activities but instead were driven by an insatiable desire for self betterment. Whether a great theologian, inventor or world leader there is one common denominator between all of them, they valued their time and did not squander it on pointless tasks and instead maximized the use of their finite time on earth, leaving behind a legacy that would last centuries after they had died and been buried. The legacy you leave will be determined by how you use your time. Value time and give people the gift of sharing your time.
