Stream of Consciousness

Link Year Week 8:

Weeks are just flying by, time just isn't slowing and I'm not sure how to feel about it. I have distant goals that I'm looking forward to and time couldn't come any sooner while simultaneously I feel like I'm desperately grasping any memories that I can. Times are changing and people are changing so rapidly and I often get the feeling that I have no idea what I'm doing. But maybe that's the whole point of life, to get to a point where you think you have it all figured out just to find out that you had no idea the whole time. Some days life seems like a straight away highway and others it feels like an ever changing maze. Some days God feels he's right next to you and other days his face seems to be obscured. Life is simply complex, the literal paradox of existence is the fact that all of life's complex issues can be solved by something as simple a faith in God.

Humans tend to try to take control of situations and solve them with their own devices but this fact almost always further complicates life, the fact is that we do not and are not supposed to have all the answers, this forces us to either flounder under our own devices or to prosper under his guidance and vision. All the complex issues of earthly life have the same first step: to go before the Lord in prayer and pray for guidance and that his will be done.
